Safe removal. We remove treated nests from accessible locations. Old nests attract new queens in spring, so removal is an important step in long-term prevention.
Property recommendations. We’ll flag conditions that are inviting wasps — open soffit gaps, deteriorating trim, unsealed vents, vegetation tight against the house. Simple fixes can prevent next year’s problem.
A word about DIY nest removal: we strongly advise against it. Yellow jackets can sting repeatedly, and a disturbed colony responds with full force. Even paper wasps, which are less aggressive, will defend their nest if you’re swatting at it with a broom.
